A.K.A RAFUSKA MARKS
Brazilian-Spanish actress and performer, Portuguese, English, Spanish and German speaker. Graduated in Drama, Scenic Art, at Faculdade de Artes do Paraná in Curitiba-Brazil.
During 2004 and 2010, she performed in Festivals all over Brazil, acting in over 10 productions of the theater group Vigor Mortis and Cia Silenciosa, having gone through several capitals in Brazil and a U.S. production with the group Thrillpeddlers in San Francisco, USA.
In 2010, she won a scholarship from Goethe Institute in Berlin, Germany, where she studied German and did follow up rehearsals at Maxim Gorki Theater. Actress in the movies: "Morgue Story” and "Nevermore - Nightmares of Edgar Allan Poe," both directed by Paulo Biscaia Filho. Actress of several advertising films in São Paulo, presenter, interviewer and radialist.
In 2012 she moved to Madrid, where she started to work and collaborate with Draft.inn – a space for risk in the performing arts. She participated as a performer in the International Theatre Forum - Theatertreffen, in Berlin, with the artist and performer Edit Kaldor.
In 2013 she performed at Teatro Español, Madrid, Spain: “Angst und Abscheu in der DDR”, text: Dirk Laucke. Also she collaborated in the production “-1” with Peeping Tom and Draft.inn, at the festival XSmall, in Brussels, Belgium. Participated in the workshop and performed in the Biennale de Teatro di Venezia, with Jan Lauwers from Needcompany.
In 2014 she participated in the workshop and performance with Rodrigo Garcia. She wrote, directed and acted in the performance “Surgical Manifest”. Participated in the Biennale di Teatro di Venezia in the workshop of Falk Richter, author and director of Schaubühne Berlin.
In 2015 she was assistant of the director Carlota Ferrer in “Fortune Cookies” in Centro Dramático Nacional, Madrid. In November 2015 she performed at Agora and Cafe Dritter Raum in Berlin her “Surgical Manifest”.
In 2016 she performed in La Juan Gallery and Storm And Drunk in Madrid: “El monstruoso escaparate de los monstruos” with the artists of Casa Selvática, Ricardx Nolascx and Gabriel Machado.
